Stop Underexposing Your Photos (Do This Instead)
Most beginners shoot dark to “protect” their highlights, then crank the shadows in editing and end up with grain and mushy detail. Here’s why I shoot slightly brighter than normal, and how it makes editing photos and video way easier. Pulling highlights and whites down preserves your shadows and blacks. Pushing shadows up destroys them. Simple shift, huge difference.
